The problem was, I kept eating like I used to, even though I couldn’t move. It stuck to me like glue. The more I gained, the more depressed I got, so the more I ate.

It was a cruel, vicious cycle.

Between the depression and inactivity I ended up packing on 25 pounds of belly fat in only 12 months.

By the time I was out of the wheelchair, I’d hit rock bottom. My energy was gone… my confidence had vanished… I felt like a shell of the person I used to be.

So I did what most people do…
